Changing Your Display Name
What is a Display Name?
This is the name that appears on your profile across the Zoom platform, such as your profile card and in meetings and webinars.
We recommend that you change your display name to include your first name and last initial when joining a live event. This way we know who you are and how to address you!

What is Zoom and how do I use it?
Zoom is a FREE video conferencing tool that we use to host online classes. Zoom will work on any desktop computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone. You can sign up for a free Zoom account at http://zoom.us.
After you are signed in, just click on any of the "Click to Join" buttons at the time of your live event to join in. You will be asked to turn on your video and audio - We love to see your faces but you do not have to turn on video. We recommend turning on audio so that you can hear us and we can hear you.
Getting Started with Zoom
Using Virtual Backgrounds
What are Virtual Backgrounds?
The Virtual Background feature in Zoom allows you to display an image or video as your background during a Zoom meeting. This can provide you with more privacy or give your regular video meeting a visual flair.
What is Screen Sharing?
Screen Sharing is a feature in Zoom that allows the host and/or participants to share their screen with the rest of the meeting participants. Screen Sharing can be an easy way to show others images, videos, articles, or presentations.
What are Breakout Rooms?
Breakout rooms allow you to split your Zoom meeting in up to 50 separate sessions. The meeting host can choose to split the participants of the meeting into these separate sessions automatically or manually, or they can allow participants to select and enter breakout sessions as they please.
